Print this thing with your Scalar M or XL printer (takes 15-30 minutes):
www.thingiverse.com/thing:1019228/#files
And Share the results :-) Please don't forget to share your print parameters, and time taken !
With my Scalar XL, first try with PLA, 50mm/s speed - 13 minutes (Cura time estimation) : Parameters part 1 Parameters part 2
I think we can do much better ? Any idea ? By the way I think Cura missed some parts in slicing.

Here is what we have with a Direct drive system with a Scalar M: The direct drive adaptator to transfor the machine from bowden to direct drive can be found on Thingiverse here: www.thingiverse.com/thing:1215618for Scalar XL and AllInOne hotend you will need to print : DirectDrive_Adaptor_XL_PTFE.stlThis model will require you to use a small part of your PTFE tube to place inside so reduce the friction of the filament on the shells. We also updated the extruder so that we can also have a PTFE tube inside. the model to print would be DirectDrive_Body_DirectDrive.stl from the same thingiverse thing. About the settings: For this picture we were using the Scalar M-Box edition This printer is not yet released and the mechanics is completely different from the Scalar M, very close to a ultimaker. It a bowden system with very short PTFE tube.(nearly half the size) Here are the settings:
